A strong portfolio of web applications and projects
Expert level understanding of JavaScript (prototypes, closures, functional techniques), DOM and XMLHttpRequest
Expert level knowledge of CSS and its nuances across multiple browsers
Complete knowledge of AJAX and Comet paradigms
BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Information Systems, CS or related field
Interest in social news, web 2.0, and life-streaming
Pro-active and results driven
Ability to move quickly and switch gears between different projects
Desire to work on a small team in a highly dynamic and creative startup environment
Bonus Points
Working knowledge of design principles, type, color and layout
Working knowledge of DataPortability and the technologies and issues involved
Experience with various JavaScript frameworks (Prototype, Dojo, YUI, MochiKit)
Experience with Python, SQL, and *nix operating systems
