Compendium of WAY COOL STUFF

binford2k's picture

Haven and I were talking about neat tricks we can do with various pieces of software and came up with what we think is a pretty cool idea. Let's have a presentation that consists of a bunch of really short mini-talks on tips and tricks.

For example, I'll do two talks about Firefox. One will be on quicklinks and the other will be on bookmarklets. Come to the presentation if you'd like to find out what those are!

If you have neat tricks that you'd like to share, post an offer in the comments and we'll schedule as many of them as we can.

Come one, come all and show off your mad hax0r skillz!

  • Ben Ford will be explaining some tricks for Firefox.
  • Haven Hash will be explaining how to use loopback filesystem mounting.
  • Scott Robinson will be talking about OpenID.
  • Devin Rider showing us XGL and the 3D desktop in Linux.
  • Matt Bailey will be talking about synergy, a network transparent KVM switch.
  • Ben Waldher will be demonstrating Distributed C Compiling.
